Alan Bernstein Distinguished Lecture

About the Lectureship

Dr. Alan Bernstein, OC PhD, is the Founding President of the Canadian Institutes for Health Research and the Executive Director of the Global HIV Vaccine Enterprise. In honour of his achievements, the UBC James Hogg Research Centre established The Alan Bernstein Distinguished Lecture as an annual celebration of scientific excellence. This lecture was created in the spirit of international ingenuity and impact in the circulatory and respiratory sciences.

We are pleased to announce that the 2016 recipient of the Alan Bernstein Distinguished Lecture is Dr. John Quackenbush.
