UBC Ranks Third in COPD Research

The University of British Columbia recently ranked third in a listing of the top 20 institutions for COPD research with 244 papers cited a total of 5,608 times, in part due to the prolific work of Drs. James Hogg, Peter Paré and Don Sin (a top 20 ranked scientist) -- all researchers with the James Hogg Research Centre, an affiliated centre of the Providence Heart + Lung Institute.

The rankings were presented by ScienceWatch.com, which looked at 9,945 institutions publishing on the topic in Thomson Reuters-indexed journals. Click here to read more.
