Scott Lear of the British Columbia Alliance on Telehealth Policy and Research, in collaboration with the BC Health Authorities, has been working on a computer program called My Health Connect. My Health Connect has been designed to help patients keep track of their own health while receiving support through a My Health Connect nurse as well as their local physicians. Designed with patient accessibility in mind, My Health Connect requires no specialized equipment and is particularly appealing to patients who live in small urban and rural areas who might not have easy access to health care.

Dr. Lear is currently looking for participants who might be interested in the next stage of the study. For more information, please click here.
