Dr. James C. Hogg to receive Honorary Degree
Heart + Lung Institute researcher, Dr. James C. Hogg, will be among 12 individuals who will receive honorary degrees during Spring and Fall ceremonies this year from the University of British Columbia.
A world-renowned expert on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and member of the Canadian Medical Hall of Fame, Dr. Hogg is the founder of the Pulmonary Research Laboratory at St. Paul's Hospital, which was renamed in his honour and is now known as the UBC James Hogg Research Laboratory.
